ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Early in the football season, game day in Delaware Stadium can feel more like midsummer than fall. For the Fightin' Blue Hen Marching Band, that means a long and full day: morning rehearsal, pre-game concert, performing in the stands, halftime and post-game shows, often adding up to eight hours or more. Our students give everything they have to support the team, and we want them to bring that same energy from the first note to the last. This year, we're raising funds for warm-weather uniform pieces, including matching shorts and baseball caps, so the band can look sharp, stay comfortable and represent UD proudly on those warm early-season game days.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT

Your gift helps our students show up at their best every game day. A $35 donation could provide a baseball hat and athletic shorts for one student, while larger gifts can outfit an entire section or help us equip the full band. With your support, our students can focus on the music, the spirit and the fun of game day, knowing their community has their back when the temperatures climb.

Gifts may also be used as general support for UDMB.
