ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Environmental breakthroughs start at the University of Delaware. The Delaware Environmental Institute (DENIN) brings together passionate Blue Hen researchers, students and community partners to tackle today’s urgent environmental issues. Through university-wide initiatives, DENIN funds student research, aids Delaware’s communities, expands environmental awareness and protects our vulnerable ecosystems.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT 

Your gift empowers Blue Hens to tackle today’s environmental challenges:

  • $20 could connect students to events encouraging environmental awareness and action
  • $50 could fund essential supplies and travel for hands-on research in Delaware habitats and communities
  • $100 could help a DENIN Graduate Fellow share solutions and network at regional conferences
  • $500 could provide seed funding for a new interdisciplinary collaboration, kickstarting efforts for experts to secure major research grants
