ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The University of Delaware's Ballroom Dance Club is dedicated to sharing the joy of ballroom dancing and introducing more students to this exciting and rewarding activity! Our club welcomes students of all majors, backgrounds and experience levels, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can learn, connect and grow. Ballroom dancing offers a fun way to stay active, build friendships and develop new skills. We meet twice a week to teach members the 19 dances featured in our competitions, helping dancers of all experience levels build confidence and improve their technique.

As our club continues to grow, we're excited to expand our reach through collaborations with other student organizations and participation in collegiate competitions. Recently, we've begun traveling to local competitions where members can showcase their skills, connect with other ballroom dance clubs, strengthen team bonds and receive valuable feedback from judges.

Through these experiences, we hope to continue growing the ballroom dance community at UD and beyond!

Your generosity helps University of Delaware Ballroom Dance Club members enjoy a rewarding hobby that provides a welcome break from the demands of college life. Ballroom dancing offers students' opportunities to stay active, build friendships and develop new skills while having fun!

Donor support helps cover the costs of team lessons, campus events such as masquerade balls and participation in collegiate dance competitions. Competitions are a highlight for many of our members but also represent one of the club's largest expenses. Your contributions help offset registration fees, travel expenses, lodging and performance essentials such as costumes, makeup and hair supplies, making these valuable experiences more accessible to students.

Every gift helps our members continue pursuing their passion for ballroom dance, strengthening our community and creating lasting memories both on and off the dance floor.
