ABOUT THIS PROJECT

One of the hallmarks of Harrington Theatre Arts Company (HTAC) productions is the opportunity to bring together talented University of Delaware musicians to perform in live pit orchestras alongside our stage actors. We believe this added element of live music enhances the authenticity and entertainment value of our productions, creating a more engaging experience for our audiences.

While many musicians have access to their own instruments, percussionists often face additional challenges in obtaining the equipment and materials needed to perform. Providing access to these essential resources helps ensure our productions can continue featuring the live music that makes HTAC performances so special.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT

This Giving Tuesday, Harrington Theatre Arts Company (HTAC) is seeking your support to provide our pit percussionists with the quality instruments and equipment they need to enhance our live musical productions. With a fundraising goal of $3,000, your generosity will help us purchase essential percussion instruments, including a xylophone, djembe, glockenspiel and snare drum. These additions will expand our musical capabilities and help us continue delivering engaging, high-quality performances for the University of Delaware community. Thank you for supporting our student musicians and helping bring the magic of live theatre to the stage!

Funds may also be used for general support of Harrington Theatre Arts Company at the University of Delaware.
