ABOUT THIS PROJECT

The Data Science Student Association (DSSA) at the University of Delaware creates opportunities for students to learn, collaborate and connect through hands-on experiences in data science and technology. As a student organization, we believe the best learning happens through practical experience, allowing members from different disciplines to develop projects, build technical skills and strengthen the data science community at UD.

Our initiatives include developing the DSSA website, Member Portfolio Platform and Email Marketing Engine, along with hosting workshops, networking events and hackathons. These projects provide students with valuable experience in analytics, software development, cloud technologies, responsible AI, teamwork and project leadership.

Through these opportunities, members gain practical skills, build professional connections and contribute to projects that benefit the broader UD community.

With your support, DSSA can continue expanding these initiatives, maintaining our student-developed technology platforms and preparing more students for success in the growing field of data science.
