Competitive Robotics Club
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
The Competitive Robotics Club at the University of Delaware provides students with opportunities to develop technical skills in a challenging yet supportive environment. During our inaugural season in 2023, we qualified for and competed in the VEX Robotics Competition World Championship. We qualified again for the 2025–26 season but were unable to attend due to funding constraints. This year, we're determined to return!
The World Championship offers members an incredible opportunity to showcase robots they've spent more than eight months designing, building and testing. Beyond the competition, students gain valuable real-world experience, connect with engineers and recruiters and proudly represent the University of Delaware on a global stage.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT
Your generosity helps the Competitive Robotics Club at the University of Delaware provide motivated students with opportunities to develop technical skills, compete at the highest levels and pursue their passion for robotics.
Donations help cover essential expenses, including materials, equipment, travel and competition fees, allowing members to compete regionally and work toward representing UD at the VEX Robotics World Championship. These experiences also provide valuable opportunities to connect with students from other universities, network with industry professionals and gain practical experience in robotics and engineering.
Your support extends beyond UD through the club's STEM outreach initiatives. Members inspire and mentor younger students by participating in STEM events and volunteering at local VEX IQ and V5 robotics competitions for students in grades 2 through 12. As the club grows, we hope to expand these efforts and encourage the next generation of innovators.
Every gift helps our members build valuable skills, pursue competitive opportunities and make a meaningful impact in their communities.
Funds may also be used for general support of the Competitive Robotics Club at the University of Delaware.
