Delaware Softball
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Delaware Softball is excited to be back out on the diamond this Spring. The team has had a great fall season, and they are hungry for their second season in Conference USA. They finished their first season with eight CUSA postseason honors, including accolades for Sydney Shaffer, Maddie Diamond, Allie Nankivell, Katie Sheivert, Josie Crossman, and Karli Challburg. They return a number of key contributors and welcome a handful of freshmen and transfers also looking to make an impact wearing the Blue & Gold this year. They also look to continue their tradition of excellence in the classroom; over the summer, eleven softball student-athletes were named Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors.
THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT
Your support of Delaware Softball ensures our softball student-athletes have the resources they need to have an exceptional student-athlete experience and to achieve success in the classroom, on the diamond and in the community. Donations support nutrition services, sports medicine needs, equipment, leadership development, career readiness programming and more for these student-athletes.
Donor support helps fund technological improvements such as the AWRE system. This multi-camera system automatically captures practices and games from multiple angles and provides our coaching staff with instant replay, automated video clips and performance analytics. The technology allows us to provide more immediate and detailed feedback to our student-athletes and gives our staff another valuable tool to enhance player development, preparation and performance.
