ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Delaware Women’s Lacrosse looks forward to returning to Atlantic Sun action after posting an incredible first year in the league. Our Blue Hens went undefeated in the regular season, earning the ASUN Regular Season Champion honors. This season they are hungry to win the conference tournament championship. The team earned four conference majors awards, including ASUN Offensive Player of the Year (Ella Rishko), ASUN Defensive Player of the Year (Kennedy Radziul), ASUN Midfielder of the Year (Gore), ASUN Coach of the Year (Altig), and had six all-conference selections. They squad will be led by 8th year head coach Amy Altig and a trio of team captains:  Riley Sturtevant, Mary Matey and Grayson Buono.

THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT

Your support of Delaware Women’s Lacrosse ensures our women’s lacrosse student-athletes have the resources they need to have an exceptional student-athlete experience and to achieve success in the classroom, on the field and in the community. Donations support nutrition services, sports medicine needs, equipment, leadership development, career readiness programming and more for these student-athletes.

Donor support funds key resources such as the Catapult GPS vests, which student-athletes wear in practice and games that track how far, how fast and how hard they run. Our sports science staff uses it to manage each athlete’s workload so they’re fresh on game day.
