Delaware Women’s Basketball
ABOUT THIS PROJECT
Delaware Women’s Basketball is back in season and proud to be representing the 302 as a second-year member of Conference USA. The program welcomes back senior standout Safi Kolliegbo, after celebrating her 1,000th career point last season. The squad includes a mix of talented newcomers and returning players, and three new coaching staff members: Kristina Baugh, Billy Lovett and Andre Jurko. They start conference play here in Newark on January 2 against Liberty. They look forward to continuing to represent the Blue and Gold with pride. Go Hens!
THE IMPACT OF YOUR SUPPORT
Your support of Delaware Women’s Basketball ensures our women’s basketball student-athletes have the resources they need to have an exceptional student-athlete experience and to achieve success in the classroom, on the court and in the community. Donations support nutrition services, sports medicine needs, equipment, leadership development, career readiness programming and more for our women’s basketball student-athletes.
Donor support has allowed the purchase of several technological advances that help the team better prepare for games ahead, including the Synergy system, a video library where every possession is tagged by play type and data is aggregated. This system makes it incredibly easy for coaches to pull together opponent film in preparation for game day. Another system that was made possible through donor support is CBB Analytics, which shows advanced stats that explain which lineups and shot types are working, for ourselves and for our opponents.
